Dramatic Sales Changes in the Russian Automotive Market: Lada Granta Shines The Russian automotive market is witnessing fluctuating demand amid economic uncertainties, with Lada Granta remaining the unlikely hero in the segment of sedans and liftbacks. In the third quarter of this year, the model recorded 19,207 sold units, reflecting a 13% increase compared to the preceding quarter. In contrast, Lada Vesta experienced a soft decline with sales falling from 10,769 to 10,681 vehicles. Interestingly, the Aura model is on the rise, with 497 units sold, up from 329 in the previous quarter. Sales of foreign models reveal a sharp downturn. Solaris HS has nearly exhausted its inventory with just 398 units sold, marking a significant drop in demand. Meanwhile, the Kia Rio is soaring in popularity with 2,787 units sold. Chery Arrizo 8, however, also reflects declining interest, decreasing to 2,077 units sold. Furthermore, the Geely Preface brand continues to falter with sales dropping to 1,233 vehicles, raising questions about the potential for localized assembly in the future.
